Fungi success!

You may have seen my earlier post asking if anyone knew where to get a mushroom kit from. Well, I found one at Bunnings for $21! Fantastic value, I think, considering how expensive mushies can be.

Here’s the kit:

It comes with simple instructions on the side of the box, so I’ll get it cooking and let you all know how effective it is.

On another note - I really shouldn’t be allowed into Bunnings without a chaperone. I meant to only get a mushroom kit… instead, I came out with:

A mushroom kit: 3 pink tulip bulbs; 7 red tulip bulbs; a hanging basket, and, an ivy plant for my bedroom.

And here is the ivy, hanging from my four-poster bed:

I felt my room lacked greenery, and as it is so small I have no-where else to put it! When Nick gets home I’ll have to move it, or it’ll drive him crazy - he has to walk around the foot of the bed to get to his side In the meantime, I’ll enjoy it very much.

So, does anyone else have plants in weird places like this? Or am I the only one…
