My first Meme…
Jayne over at Our Great Southern Land tagged me for a meme so here’s my reply…
What were you doing ten years ago?
I was a chubby teenager in my last year of high school! I can’t believe it’s been ten years already - eep! But thankfully, my life is just getting better and better with each year - as I learn what I really want, what’s important to me, and that I really can do something about those things!
What are 5 things on your to-do list today?
Hmmm, it’s already 8pm, but still to go are:
1. Practice my cello
2. Finish research for my next SS post
3. Wash up from dinner (erk, my least favourite chore…)
4. Water my balcony plants, as my shower bucket is full and they missed out on the rain yesterday
5. Start reading the next book in The Dark Tower series - I’ve read them before, but I just recently bought all of them, and I’m now reading them back-to-back.
What snacks do you enjoy?
Rice crackers with tzatziki or cottage cheese is my favourite: also olives, gherkins, and the occasional bit of chocolate!
Things that you would do if you were a billionaire?
Buy a Prius! Then buy a swathe of either the outback or rainforest (or both - how many billions are we talking about here??) to create a private reserve that could never be touched. Also invest in green technologies and innovation. Give my parents money so they could have an early retirement, buy some land for my own… etcetera…
Three of your bad habits?
I’m messy. Really messy.
I bite the skin off my fingers… got to stop!!
I can be a tad bossy… (only child - no, I wasn’t spoilt!!!)
Five places you have lived?
Townsville, Charters Towers, Gladstone, Brisbane, Elimbah.
Five jobs you’ve had?
Crazy Clark’s clerk
Commercial and domestic cleaner
Teacher
Science Communicator
Tutor
How did you name your blog?
Honestly, the name almost came before the blog. It just popped up in my head, and encapsulated everything that I was trying to do in my own life, as well as what I really think is needed in the developed world. And I dig alliteration!!
So there you have it, a little more insight into me.

Jess
The link to my blog in your post above seems kaputt. Looks like it’s got something appended to it that should not be there.
Anyway, I have been nice enough to tag you for a Six Word Memoir as well.
